Our Vision & Mission

CHARTERING CEREMONY

Vision: To enhance the educational experience of the two-year college student in the state of Kansas and the region.

Mission Statement: The mission of PTKAW is threefold:

​

  1. Promote Washburn University as a transfer option for members of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society of the two-year college.

  2. Promote membership in Phi Theta Kappa to current two-year college students.

  3. Participate in projects, both on campus and across the region, which will enhance our members' competitiveness for leadership-based scholarships at Washburn.

Motto: From the two-year college to Washburn, it's still all about: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Fellowship.
